OnlyFans models expose ‘creepy’ trend amongst male subscribers pretending to be women

One subscriber has a ‘medical kink’

Catfishing is not a particularly new term, thanks largely to the documentary show of the same name, but who could have guessed that the practice is increasingly prevalent on OnlyFans?

The term, which is described as “the process of luring someone into a relationship by means of a fictional online persona”, is usually invoked on online dating sites where people pretend to be someone else for romantic, financial, or social gain. In extreme cases, and as shown time and time again on MTV’s Catfish with Nev Schulman, catfishing scams can destroy a person’s life.

As it turns out, catfishing is also found on OnlyFans, according to model Layla Kelly – yes, the same Layla Kelly who recently went viral for filming Instagram content with farm animals.

“I personally don’t have a problem with people pretending to be someone else, if that’s their fetish, then that’s okay,” she told News.com.au.

“Where it crosses the line is when someone, who hasn’t consented or given permission, is having their identity and photos used unknowingly, especially given that this is a very intimate platform. Often nude images are used to, and these women have no idea. It’s so wrong.”

On Instagram, she recalled one encounter when a man pretended to be either “his wife or his sister” to illicit free content from her.

“One guy even sent me a wedding photo paired with a driving licence and I knew it had to be his wife or his sister. Either way, I highly doubt she knew what he was up to,” she added.

“I do ask these men to prove they are who they say they are, but none of them ever do. I even remind them that it is against the terms of service to be sending photos of anyone but themselves because they can’t consent to that.”

Some men take OnlyFans catfishing a step further

Though some men are looking for free x-rated content to fulfil some kind of kink, former p*rnstar Lucy Banks told the publication that some men are feeding a very specific kind of fetish.

“I used to have this subscriber that had some sort of medical kink, and he would always say, ‘Oh, I need to go for a pap smear, I need to have an internal, can you tell me what it’s like, I want to know what it feels like, how deep do they go, does it turn you on?’,” she shared.

“He would go on and on and on about speculums and having pap smears and internal examinations. And again, you can tell straight away. They’re not as smart as they think they are, and you can tell straight away that it’s a guy.”
