A Love Island 2023 icon has just gone Instagram official with her new footballer boyfriend. I love this for her.

Ella Thomas had a messy post Love Island relationship with Tyrique Hyde, with the pair breaking up and getting back together multiple times. But now, it would seem all of that is behind her.

Ella is now official with Lloyd Jones, who plays for League One football club Charlton Athletic. Ella has recently been sharing a new man on her Snapchat, but up until now the mystery person had always been faceless in the pictures.

Lloyd was the one to change that. He recently shared a set of photos celebrating an award at the club. “Honoured to have won player of the season,” he said, tagging Charlton. If you scroll through the carousel post below, you’ll spy new girlfriend Ella is pride of place in one of the photos.

Ella looks so chic it hurts. She really is in her WAG era. “Ella ❤️❤️ Take care of the queen, don’t let her go,” one person in the comments said. “Ella did her thing,” another added, whilst someone else said: “We love a hard launch.”

Ella and Tyrique ended in third place on Love Island 2023. It was then reported they’d split up four months later. They then got back together, but just a couple of months after that, things were said to have gone sour once again.

At the time, a source told MailOnline: “Ella and Tyrique have decided it’s time to go their separate ways. They have such love for each other, but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa, they’re always arguing.
