Your definitive guide to all the Cambridge and Oxford University balls in summer 2025
You’d better start planning your outfits now
If y0u’re desperate to worm your way into one of the fancy balls at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford in 2025, then we’ve got you covered. Here is an extremely helpful list of all the balls at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford in summer 2025. Plus some handy information on the tickets and dates. Tickets are still available for the vast majority of these events, so get planning.
Here’s a quick refresher on all the stupidly silly Oxbridge lingo. A “May Ball” is a very fancy event held in June at the University of Cambridge (yes, the name is really confusing). A “June Event” or “May Week Event” will be a cheaper, smaller version of a May Ball. These parties go on slightly less late and usually have fewer forms of entertainment. A “Commemoration Ball” is a really big ball in Oxford. If an Oxford event doesn’t have the word “Commemoration” in the name, then it’s usually smaller, cheaper and held earlier in the year.
So, here is a definitive, very long list of all the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford balls happening in 2025. The ones that haven’t been cancelled yet, anyway.
