Jake reveals the shocking real reason he quit MAFS Australia and it’s truly insane
He can’t be serious?!
Last night saw Jake Luik leave MAFS Australia just hours after the first commitment ceremony, and he’s revealed the shocking real reason he left.
During a heated discussion, Ashleigh Ackerman told Jake she was annoyed at him for saying he “can’t trust her” after she went and knocked on Sierah’s door after that brutal photo ranking.
She said she she was “upset” and wouldn’t feel bad for needing to “vent” to her friend, but Jake wasn’t having any of it, replying: “Well I’m going go then and packing his bags.”
In an interview with Daily Mail Australia after the show, Jake blamed Ashleigh for putting too much pressure on him to “rush into things,” claiming that’s the real reason he decided to quit.
“She was like, “I need to know if you’re going to be the father of my children’,” he said. “I’m just thinking, ‘Mate, I don’t even know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow, let alone planning for that’.”
The MAFS groom also claimed that Ashleigh was never actually there and would disappear for entire weekends at a time without any contact, saying that made it really hard for them to build a connection.
“How am I meant to build something with someone if they’re not around? There were times when I’d just be sitting in the room, silently, with no effort from her side,” he said. Is he seriously blaming her?!
