Craig Conover just said he’s avoiding ALL the drama surrounding Paige DeSorbo

Craig Conover is absolutely done with Paige DeSorbo. She dumped him just before Christmas, and then he ignored her about the break-up post announcement.

Since then, there’s been drama after drama, including their co-stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula getting involved. They’ve slammed him for not sticking up for Paige among the cheating allegations.

Craig Conover has stayed pretty tight-lipped about his split from Paige, after she decided to call time on their two-year relationship. He appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday February 6, and of course, he was asked plenty of questions about the break-up the entirety of the Bravo viewership cried about.

He basically said he’s staying out of the drama for the foreseeable and said he’s “moving on with his life.” Craig made out he wasn’t getting involved with all the speculation, but then added that the break-up “just came out of nowhere” because she “just wanted other people.” Basically, he confirmed it was not a mutual split.

“I didn’t think it was real,” Craig said on WWHL, recalling the moment when Paige told him she thought they should break up. “We didn’t want different things. We were planning our future together… like I was moving to New York. I don’t want to be involved. I’m the ex boyfriend now, I’m moving on with my life… I never said you cheated, so I’m not a part of [the online allegations].”

He then added: “I think we had an awesome relationship. I’m where I am a lot of it because of her. It is what it is.” Just a week ago, Craig’s friend Austen Kroll spoke about the rumours Paige has moved on and said: “I don’t think that those are rumours. I think that they’ve been substantiated, and I think Craig knows as such. You know, he didn’t know for a minute, but yeah — I think that he’s fully come to terms with that.”

Paige disputed Austen in the comments section of a WWHL Instagram post about his allegation, writing, “Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken to in six months knows exactly what I’m doing.” She’s clarified on her Giggling Squad podcast that she hasn’t moved on but is fully in her single era after the split.

Craig planned to propose to Paige and had bought her an engagement ring. She even went with him to pick out two different rings last year, which is when he’d planned to get down on one knee!

During an upcoming clip of Paige at a dinner party hosted by Patricia Altschul, she asked him if he’d ever considered giving Paige an ultimatum.

He said, “No, because I like what we’re doing. Everyone else just kind of speaks for me. I’m gonna propose soon. I mean, like, soon — as in by the end of the year. Between us, I showed her a sheet of rings and I said, ‘Pick your favourite,’ and she picked two that were my favourite, actually.”

Craig later confirmed that he did end up buying one, after Paige had picked an emerald cut and an elongated cushion ring.

It’s breaking our hearts knowing Craig was ready for forever with Paige, but he posted on his Instagram Story recently: “This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least. But I guess life has to, I gotta start living it, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like, I have to start.”
