Tulisa claps back after being accused of calling her I’m A Celeb campmates ‘fake’

Tulisa has clapped back after people accused the singer of calling her fellow I’m A Celeb campmates “fake”.

In an interview with ITV’s Lorraine after leaving the jungle, she was asked whether she made any lifelong friendships in camp.

“I feel like I have with some of them. I think they will be friends for life. But a lot of people for the cameras were being very pally pally but the real test will be when everyone is out,” she said.

“Will they make the effort to send texts in the group chat? Will they do the four-hour drives to see each other? We’ll see.”

People wrongly interpreted this as Tulisa throwing major shade at her campmates and suggesting they are playing up for the cameras.

However, Tulisa has now responded on Instagram and revealed the whole comment was taken way out of context.

“I just want to clarify I do not think that any of my campmates are fake,” she said.

“I was having a conversation on Lorraine and what I was trying to say is, typical me just thinking out loud, is that everyone in there is gonna have one or two individuals that they are way more close with than others.”

“When we get out is when you’re really gonna see those friendships get nurtured and the people that really become your friends for life.”

“You’re gonna be friends with everyone, I love my jungle buddies, I love my jungle fam,” Tulisa continued.

“But there’s gonna be friendships that people have that really get nurtured and you know, they become something that’s like ‘Wow this is a friend for life’ and that was all I was trying to say.”

So, there’s no beef between Tulisa and any of her campmates – and it looks like Oti is one of the people she sees herself staying close to.

“Oti is just a pure soul. She’s amazing and people like her are hard to come by,” the singer told Lorraine.
