MAFS UK’s Luke is doing an event with *that* old job and you can spend the night with him

MAFS UK groom Luke is back at his old day job – or shall I say *night* job – and he has an event coming up. The job was at the centre of a lot of his arguments with Amy on the show, but he’s proudly back doing what he did before the experiment.

On the show, Amy and Luke spoke a lot about his work. It was an awkward topic of conversation with Amy’s friends, and Luke was called out for lying about a certain photo from work that was pinned to his fridge.

Luke is a performer, and works at nightclubs and restaurant venues. He’s previously performed with Black Birdcage Agency, which according to its Instagram “offers high calibre of performers/models/dancers/special acts.”

Now, it looks like he’s back in a big way. He’s got a festive event up his sleeve. On Christmas Eve, Luke will be at Old Ash Tree in Chatham. Guests will be able to share a prosecco and a dance with him.

“Well haven’t we got a treat for you,” the business posted. “Married at First Sight star Luke will be here Christmas Eve!!! He’ll be greeting you at the door with a glass of prosecco!! And inviting you in to dance the night away with a disco until midnight!!! He’s only here for a few hours so get yourself down here Christmas Eve!!!!”

It’s not clear how much Luke is being paid for the event, and there’s no ticket link to buy – so it looks as though it’s free! Old Ash Tree is a pub in Chatham, which is in Kent – where Luke is based.

“He’s going to terrorise that Chatham pub,” one person said on the event post. And yes, a lot of the comments are making “terrorising” jokes.

According to Luke’s own website, he’s been working in the entertainment industry for seven years. “Working in the entertainment industry came out of the blue for me in 2017 when a guy approached me at the gym,” he said. “His mate had bailed on a gig, and he needed someone to help him that same night. Never saying never, I agreed, and that night was a turning point. I realised how much I enjoyed dropping my serious mask and just have the ability to be myself.”
