I went to Warwick campus’s Christmas markets and here’s how it went
Definitely feeling festive
On Wednesday 27th December Warwick held the annual Christmas lights switch on and Christmas markets. Now, whilst I missed the actual turning on of the lights, I did see the lit up tree, the carol singing and went round the market stalls, even purchasing a few things myself.
It was a lovely way to spend assignment season and get into the festive spirit. The Christmas tree was a definite highlight.
There were all kinds of stalls, ranging from the food stalls that are on campus every Wednesday to specific Christmas stalls selling items such as chocolate, sweets and festive bakes.
There were numerous stalls selling handmade items such as hairclips, jewellery, scrunchies, bookmarks, candles, soap and paintings.
The festive ambiance was great, with fake snow and live performances really adding to the evening. It was a great way to kick off the festive season and do something cute on campus.
