Not sure how to spend spooky season? Here are Liverpool’s best Halloween events this year

Don’t leave your Halloweekend tickets as late as your costume x

All Hallow’s Eve is over and done with, so it’s time to get your events organised and booked for one of the biggest nights in Liverpool’s night out calendar. No one wants to be stuck in the worst place on the best night out of the year – as hard as it is to make plans with your flatmates and friends. Liverpool is arguably the best city for club nights and events every year, but which venue to pick is always the question on everyone’s minds. So, we’ve curated a list of the best events going on this spooky season, to make things a little bit easier for you while you’re ordering your last-minute costumes.

Unit 90’s Theatre of Fear

Arts Club and Tropiloco are known around Liverpool for hosting some of the wildest club nights, and this one will be no different. Their Theatre of Fear event is happening on our beloved Halloween night, the 31st of October, from 10pm to 4am. Get your best costumes ready, and with three “theatres of horror” to explore, there’s bound to be something for everyone.

Camp and Furnace’s Haunted Halloween Warehouse

Who doesn’t love a rave on Halloween? Camp and Furnace have you sorted with their Haunted Warehouse Experience, and with 90 percent of tickets sold already, it’s one to keep an eye on for Halloween night. The event will end at 3am, and with full venue decor, confetti cannons, and huge Halloween rave visuals, there’s enough here to keep you busy all night!

Skint x Longlegs

Who doesn’t love a Skint Tuesday? Well, Cool It Liverpool have answered our prayers and have organised a Skint Halloween Special on Thursday night – it’s almost as if they knew that Skint withdrawals are the scariest thing to happen to anyone during spooky season. If you dare to join your mates at Skint, prepare yourself for live scare actors and a full venue transformation. Grab your tickets as soon as possible, because we all know that this one is bound to sell out.

Old Skool Bingo at Modo

With a distinct lack of Bingo Lingo this Halloween night, your crazy bingo fix can be found at Modo this year. It’s every student’s favourite place for cheap drinks, and what’s better than getting dressed up for Halloween and having the chance to win some ridiculous prizes? The last entry for this event will be 8:30pm, so why not start your night right in Concert Square – you’ll most likely end up out on the town in a blink of an eye.

Asylum at Level

The biggest annual Halloween event is back at Level this year, and to nobody’s surprise, it’s fully sold out already. If you can manage to steal a few tickets from your friends, there’ll be three rooms to explore in the fully transformed venue, with scare actors roaming around, the infamous ball pit, and so much more. We already know it’s going to be packed on Halloween night, so try and get yourself down to celebrate the biggest annual event in town!

McCooley’s

You can’t go wrong with a classic in the Concert Square scene, and you already know that McCooley’s will be packed on Halloween. Whether you want to spend your whole night there, or end your night dancing along to a bit of ABBA, the choice is yours. As always it will be free entry, and the drinks are cheap and cheerful, so why not stop by?

Halloween Punk Drag Night at Heaven

If none of the warehouse raves and club nights tickled your fancy this year, Heaven are summoning the spirits of punk, glam and all things alternative at their Punk Drag Night. Hosted by their resident Drag Queens for the fourth year running, this night of mayhem is for you if you’re seeking something spooky but fun this Halloween.

Happy Halloween!
