Here’s the juicy current relationship statuses of all the Love Is Blind Habibi couples
The reunion drama is going to be explosive
The Love Is Blind Habibi reunion is almost upon us, but what exactly is the current relationship status of our couples who managed to get engaged? From walk outs to explosive arguments, not every couple seemed to get their happy ending, so let’s have a look at the current relationship statuses of all the couples.
Karma and Ammar
Karma and Ammar got off to a great start in the Love Is Blind Habibi pods, with their relationship being extremely strong from the start. The pair only had eyes for each other and it was pretty obvious their connection was going to an end in an accepted proposal.
However once they were out of the Love Is Blind Habibi pods, their relationship started to falter as Ammar felt uncomfortable with Karma’s independent views compared to his more traditional values. Karma felt very uneasy about the fact that Ammar stated he wouldn’t allow his wife to dance.
Whilst the pair started to try and bring their relationship back on track, Karma ultimately decided that she couldn’t stop doing the things she loves just because of a man’s views. But it looks like we’ll have to wait until the reunion to see whether Ammar has tried to change his ways in order to win Karma back.
Hajar and Simo
Hajar and Simo are another couple who have more than their fair share of fiery exchanges, with one moment during a group mixer leaving Simo feeling very conflicted about her feelings.
Most Read
When meeting the rest of the group for the first time Simo started arguing with his co-star Chafic and afterwards got into a fight with Hajar over the fact she didn’t stand up for him. He then abruptly decided to leave Love Is Blind Habibi, leaving their relationship in complete limbo.
Hopefully the reunion will be able to answer some of our questions about what’s going in with these two.
Asma and Khateb
The relationship timeline between these two is honestly one of the most confusing things of the whole show. Soon after the couple met in person Asma then decided she didn’t want to continue with the experiment anymore.
But then whilst all the other couples were at the resort, Asma and Khateb randomly rocked up and revealed they’d decided to rejoin the experiment. It seemed like everything was going well for them until Asma wasn’t able to get her parents blessings to continue their relationship.
Whilst the pair did make it to the altar, Asma decided she didn’t want to get married to him, but promised she was still committed to their relationship. Who knows whether she really meant what she said, but all will be revealed at the reunion.
Dounia and Chafic
Dounia and Chafic had a very dramatically romantic start to their relationship, by him loudly professing his love for here whilst in the men’s lounge. It was vaguely awkward to say the least.
Ultimately they ended up breaking up the day before their wedding and something tells me they won’t have rekindled.
Noor and Mido
Let’s be honest these two only ended up getting together in the first place because their top choices in other people had been snapped up. Both of them found themselves without a partner who they could get engaged to and so decided to settle with each other.
But it wasn’t long until they realised they actually had nothing in common, and watching their scenes at the resort together makes for uncomfortable viewing.
They soon split up after Mido became convinced that Noor still had feelings for Chafic, who she was talking to in the pods but got engaged to Dounia instead.
There’s nothing better than a dramatic Love Is Blind breakup.
Safa and Mohammed
Yes, out of all the Love Is Blind Habibi couples these two are the only ones who actually managed to make it to the altar, but that hasn’t stopped the relationship rumour mill from grinding.
A lot of viewers have been questioning whether the two are even still married, with the reunion preview hinting all is not perfect between the two.
One preview clip showed Mohammed admitting: “Yes, I’m a jealous person” before Safa replies: “There’s a fine line between jealousy and control.”
