Um, Emma and Nicole from Selling Sunset are STILL feuding over whether Emma dated a married man

Apparently someone ‘destroyed’ and ‘terrified’ Nicole’s friend after an unaired scene from season eight

The Selling Sunset agents Emma Hernan and Nicole Young are feuding on social media over some behind-the-scenes drama from season eight.

Here’s the lowdown: A friend/enemy of the Selling Sunset cast called Jennifer supposedly told Nicole at the new office opening party in season seven that Emma was dating a married man.

When most of the agents went on a cowboy-themed work retreat to Pioneertown in season eight, Nicole accidentally-on-purpose let slip she’d heard something bad about Emma, and the other agents quickly caught on from her comments that Emma was supposedly dating a married man. The rest of the cast was pretty unimpressed by this rumour, especially considering that Chelsea’s husband was reportedly cheating on her.

Emma has now embraced her inner Wagatha Christie and posted a load of texts to prove that she told Nicole during filming at Pioneertown that she wasn’t really seeing a married man, but Nicole carried on spreading this rumour in the rest of season eight anyway.

Nicole texted Jennifer, in February while filming at Pioneertown. She wrote that the other agents “have cornered me over and over to spill the beans” about Emma, and she needed advice.  The source replied, “OH NO. Just diffuse. Down play it. It wasn’t an affair. Don’t give it any steam. That would be a nightmare.” But Nicole carried on talking about Emma having an affair for the rest of season eight.

Emma is clearly very unimpressed with Nicole’s behaviour on the show. Her scathing Instagram caption reads: “This all was a complete lie intended to diminish my character and reputation for a pathetic and desperate attempt at a storyline.”

It didn’t take Nicole long to clap back at Emma. Nicole posted another load of text screenshots to her Insta story.

Nicole claims that Jennifer told her right after the office party that she didn’t want these rumours about Emma to be mentioned on camera. Jennifer texted, “None of that can be on the show. There’s a family attached and it would be devastating.”

Nicole revealed that she and Jennifer filmed a scene for season eight on 12th March 2024 in which they discussed the rumours about Emma. Afterwards, someone apparently phoned Jennifer and threatened to sue her. Jennifer panicked and asked Nicole to not include the scene in Selling Sunset.

Jennifer texted Nicole, “I can’t have anything to do with the Emma situation. It would ruin my friendship.

“They said they would sue me and destroy me.

“She just destroyed me over the phone. She will sue everyone. She went OFF one me. Please don’t use anything I said about Emma. I’m terrified. She DESTROYED me. TERRIFIED.”

The plot thickens.

Then, on 1st September, Jennifer sent a text to both Emma and Nicole which suddenly says something different to what Nicole says she says about Emma (still with me?).

Jennifer’s texted, “I have never said Emma had an affair. I know for a fact that did not happen.”

Nicole replied, “Really??? Jennifer it’s on camera.”

Nicole told The Tab: “The person Jennifer was referring to in the text who threatened to sue her was not Emma, it was the wife of the alleged man Emma had previously had some kind of involvement with.

“Apparently the husband and wife had gotten back together after all of this and didn’t want any of this being discussed, which is why the wife threatened to sue Jennifer for bringing it up on camera.”

Emma Hernan had repeatedly denied dating a married man. She told Vulture, ““Nicole is a sick individual. I’m going to be super candid. There’s zero truth to that rumour. I know what she’s referring to. First off, it was in 2021 that I showed this person properties and then they actually asked to invest in my empanada company. I said ‘No,’ and nothing happened.”

Nicole has stood by the fact that Emma did date a married man, telling Tudum, “This is not something I made up.”

So, did Emma from Selling Sunset really date a married man, or has Nicole just blown something way out of proportion? Did someone threaten to sue Jennifer for spreading rumours? Why is Nicole still stirring the pot? Do none of them have anything better to do with their time? I’m a bit scared that if I speculate further I’ll wake up to find my house has been splattered with frozen empanadas.

Emma’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
