Anne Hathaway apologises to journalist after an interview of her being ‘awful’ goes viral
It’s the same journalist who exposed the viral rude Blake Lively interview!?
Remember Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa? If she rings bells, it’s because in the height of the Blake Lively drama when It Ends With Us was never out of the headlines, Kjersti Flaa went viral for an interview with Blake Lively where the latter was accused of being rude. Journalist Kjersti Flaa has now gone viral AGAIN because of an interview with Anne Hathaway to promote Les Misérables in which Hathaway is extremely dismissive has resurfaced, and Hathaway has emailed her where she apologises profusely. In the interview, Flaa asks to sing the first question to Anne Hathaway and Anne sing the response back, to which she says “Well, I won’t be doing that but you’re more than welcome to sing.” Flaa then asks two questions about love to Hathaway, who responds with a blunt “No” both times – giving the journalist literally nothing to work with.
After the interview went viral, Kjersti Flaa says that Anne Hathaway reached out to the journalist and apologises via email. In a video addressing the saga, Flaa says “She sent me a long email explaining to me what she was going through right then, when she did this interview. And she apologised for giving me an awful interview. It was so touching, talking about it makes me almost teary eyed because I was just so grateful that she did that.

“It was a very personal note and we decided that I wouldn’t share exactly what was in the email but I just wanted to share with you guys what she did, because I thought that was just so amazing. I replied to her and said ‘I’m so grateful that you did this and it means a lot to me.’ And I said if she ever wants to sit down and talk about it I’m here. And then she invited me to interview her for her next movie, that’s coming out in May.
“So yeah, I’m really looking forward to that. I have so much respect for people who own up to their mistakes and say they’re sorry. Sorry is such a powerful word.
