Where the MAFS UK 2024 weddings were filmed, and how rich you’d have to be to get married there
If it’s good enough for royalty, then it’s good enough for MAFS
The MAFS UK 2024 weddings couldn’t have been more dramatic. Tears? Tantrums? Being into your wife’s sister? Panicking that your wife looks identical to your sister? They had it all. Here are where the MAFS UK 2024 weddings took place, and how much you’d have to spend to get married there. These venues are actually more affordable for us mere mortals than you might think.
The Elvetham Hotel – £8,000
This was the wedding location for Kristina and Kieran, Eve and Charlie, Sacha and Ross, and Richelle and Orson.
The Elvetham Hotel is near Farnborough in Hampshire. The current building dates back to 1859. According to Wikipedia, Elizabeth I planted a tree in the grounds when she stayed at a stately home that used to be on the site. You can decide for yourselves how likely it is that Queen Elizabeth I was into hardcore landscaping. The house is surrounded by 35 acres of gardens and parkland.
The Elvetham Hotel website says that the cost of hiring the place for your wedding starts at £2,100. The Bridebook website says that a wedding there tends to be about £8,000.

Farnham Castle – £25,000
Emma and Caspar, Lacey and Nathan, Polly and Adam and Holly and Alex had their TV weddings here. Maybe the castle is cursed, because I swear that all the weddings that went badly happened here?
Farnham Castle is near the boundary between Surrey and Hampshire. The site includes the ruins of a 12th century stone castle, and a mildly newer 15th century red brick building. It made for a very dramatic setting for the MAFS couples to have their very first arguments.

According to Bridebook, you could a really small wedding here for 30 guests would cost just £4,200. But if you and your spouse have more than 15 friends each, you’ll be spending quite a bit more than that. Packages for 100 guests range from £12,400 to £25,000 depending on which parts of the castle you use. This wedding venue costs much more than Elvetham Hotel, where the other original brides and grooms got married. Favouritism, much?
Luton Hoo Hotel – £22,600
Amy and Luke got a whole new venue for their MAFS UK 2024 wedding. Luton Hoo is a hotel at the edge of Bedfordshire, half way between Luton and Harpenden in Hertfordshire. The building dates back to 1767 and was designed to look vaguely like ancient Greek temples. Queen Elizabeth I and Prince Phillip stayed there a few times. Four Weddings and a Funeral, Justice League and that Mille Bobby Brown movie Enola Holmes were filmed there.

Luton Hoo makes for a hell of a wedding venue. The wedding packages start at £13,000 – and that’s just for 40 guests. You have to cough up another £160.00 per adult guest. So, it would probably cost about £22,600 to hire out the mansion house for 100 people. I’m sure Amy and Luke were relieved that they weren’t paying for it themselves.
