Justin Baldoni hires Johnny Depp’s crisis PR after It Ends With Us feud with co-stars
You know the drama is bad when Melissa Nathan gets involved
Just when you thought the It Ends With Us drama couldn’t get any more scandalous, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Baldoni has hired the crisis PR manager to end all crisis PR managers, Melissa Nathan. If she managed to save Johnny Depp from total ruin, there’s no one better to fix this mess than her.
Her hiring comes after many negative headlines written about Justin, alleging that he made Blake Lively “uncomfortable” on set. He was the director of the hit film, and according to him, Blake was a very involved producer.

The feud between Justin Baldoni and his co-stars, specifically Blake, has taken the internet by storm this week with the release of It Ends With Us, and it’s no surprise that Baldoni has hired a crisis PR. People noticed his absence from cast photos at the premiere, and how none of the cast, or even Colleen Hoover for that matter, follow him on Instagram, despite him following everyone.
The drama may have stemmed from the fact that there were two different cuts of the film produced by director Baldoni and producer Lively, but Lively’s cut was ultimately chosen (despite audiences preferring Baldoni’s cut). He’s also mentioned how he took a major step back at times to let the women on set take over, wanting to make sure the film had a female gaze.
Melissa Nathan launched The Agency Group this summer after almost 10 years helping some very controversial celebs restore their names, such as Logan Paul, Drake and Johnny Depp. Let’s hope all of the messy drama settles down soon (just kidding, I am living for it).
