So, what actually is in the $23 Sabrina Carpenter smoothie and where can you buy it?
Is it that sweet? I guess so
The catchiest song of the year has just hit one billion streams on Spotify, and the Espresso hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating by releasing a colourful smoothie at the pricey California based supermarket chain, Erewhon. However, fans are not thrilled at the whopping $23 (that’s 18 Great British pounds) price for just the smoothie itself.

The Short n’ Sweet smoothie is available to buy at all Erewhon stores right now.
What is actually inside the drink?
According to Erewhon, the smoothie has “a tropical fruit base with organic coconut and honey, collagen and pearl powder, and a dash of spirulina for a rich, blue colour.” A summery vibe for a summery song.
Where can I buy it?
Unfortunately for all those living outside of California, the only place you can buy the fancy new drink is in Erewhon chains which only exist in the state. To be honest, I doubt an Erewhon would go down well in the UK – I am NOT paying $8 for a carton of milk.
A very controversial price tag
With concert tickets being more unaffordable than ever (Sabrina’s included), fans online were not pleased with the price tag that came with the singer’s new drink. Many took to X to complain.
One fan wrote: “The day I willingly spend $23 on a smoothie is the day I’ll know that I’ve lost touch with reality.”
Another complained: “$23??? B***h please Sabrina better come out and sing for me until I finish the smoothie.”
A user in the Instagram comments said: “Beautiful during a time where most Americans can’t even afford bottled water.” Damn!
However, many fans were supportive of the drink, and even suggested it was very affordable by Erewhon’s usual standards. One user chimed in: “People saying they wouldn’t spend $23 on the Sabrina Carpenter Erewhon smoothie are the same people that spend $23 on a single alcoholic drink on a night out.”

She continued: “Also just proves you haven’t tasted the goodness of an Erewhon smoothie….. like it’s fully worth the price.” Tbh now I really want to try one just to see if it’s worth the hype.
