Wait, are these two Love Is Blind UK cast members actually cousins?!

The show might have only been out for one day, but already Love Is Blind UK has descended into chaos because people are convinced two of the cast members are cousins. I mean, you put a show like this in the UK and expect it to not be chaotic? Think again.
One of the first couples we see heading into the brand new Love Is Blind UK pods are called Cat and Freddie. They seem to get on really well, before going on to get to know each other on a more deeper level. But, maybe they really shouldn’t have.
Upon asking each other some questions about their names and family, Cat and Freddie discover they have *a lot* in common, and like… could be cousins?
“What’s your last name,” Cat innocently asked Freddie on one of their dates. He replied: “Powell.” He then assumed she was asking him this to see if she liked his last name on her – when they potentially get married.
“My middle name is Mary,” Cat added. “It’s named after my gran.” Now this is where the plot thickens. “My nana was called Mary,” Freddie said. “Isn’t that crazy! What was your grandad called?” Cat replied: “Bill.” That’s when Freddie’s face immediately dropped and he said he didn’t believe Cat, because guess what? His grandad was called Bill, too!
“I’ve got goosebumps,” Freddie said. “Do you know what my grandad was called? Bill. What the hell! Are you joking? That’s mad.” Cat then added that she too was confused, before Freddie declared it “weird” that they have grandparents with the same names.
