Kirsten Dunst to Hugh Grant: The huge Hollywood stars complaining they need more money

Because you can never have enough digits in your bank accounts

Hollywood is a place where the drama isn’t just on screen— it’s in the actors bank accounts too. Agents are constantly bartering for big money deals, box-office hits are a must, SAG-AFTRA strikes are going down, and superhero sagas swoop in to save the day… or just everyone’s bank balances.

And it looks like some stars aren’t content with the millions they’re making. They’re craving more money and aren’t afraid to shout it from the rooftops:

Kirsten Dunst

Okay, so Kirsten Dunst spilled the tea on why she’d suit up as a superhero again. In her own words, “Yes, because you get paid a lot of money, and I have two children and I support my mother.” Can’t argue with that kind of honesty, right? Even Spidey’s leading lady knows the power of a fat pay check.

Hugh Grant

Ever imagined Hugh Grant rocking the Oompa Loompa look? Well, he did, and let’s just say it wasn’t his jam. “I couldn’t have hated the whole thing more,” he griped. “But I have lots of children and need money.”

Anne Hathaway

When the trailer was released for Anne Hathaway’s new romcom The Idea of You, everyone was mildly horrified. “First bad Anne Hathaway movie,” claimed one user, while others questioned why she’d agreed to the part if not for a big pay out.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson has spoken openly about how she’ll never do another superhero film like Madame Web after the project was widely slaughtered. And finances played a bit part in her accepting the project in the first place. “It’s so hard to get movies made,” she said, “and art does not do well when it’s made by committee.”
