Women on Twitter are sharing their stories of sexual harassment at uni
It’s to raise awareness of the problem and create solidarity
Today, people are tweeting their experiences of sexual harassment under the hashtag #UnsafeatUni.
The hashtag was created by Everday Sexism to raise awareness of the problem of harassment at uni and create solidarity. They said: “Today we’re using #UnsafeAtUni to share some of the reports we’ve received of experiences on campus – please add yours if you feel able to.
“We also hear from university staff & students who experience harassment & assault from colleagues and staff members.”
