You can now make sweet potato toast

It’s gluten-free

There’s a new sweet potato cooking technique – making it into toast. 

It was discovered when blogger Kelsey of Little Bits Of  craved avocado toast but was out of bread.

Instead, she improvised by slicing up some sweet potatoes and putting them in the toaster.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Step one: Slice the sweet potato into 1/4 inch thick pieces, and put in the toaster on a high setting.
  • Step two: Toast it again to cook through fully.
  • Step three: Toppings. Kelsey recommends either avocado and lemon, almond butter banana and cinnamon or tuna mayo and red onion.
