Undoubtedly, one of the great appeals about the University of Edinburgh is the cultural diversity and the broad span of people it attracts. And, for any fellow Scots, it is the perfect opportunity to educate the masses on hoo we dae it here in Scotland.
With our bonnie dialect spanning from hoachin to jakey – the meaning of which isn’t exactly obvious – for entertainment some freshers have been rallied to ask what they thought some of them meant.
