There’s a yuge motion passing through NY Assembly right now

It would drastically change voting on April 19th

There is a long-shot bill currently passing through the NY Assembly that could be of huge importance to the upcoming primary on April 19th.

The bill (Assembly Bill A9661) is concerned with making New York an open primary. If passed, it would allow those who are registered to vote, but who are unaffiliated, to vote next Tuesday.

The bill would massively help Bernie Sanders

It is highly unlikely that this bill will be passed before the April 19th Primary in New York, as bills usually take longer to process. It has to pass through the House, the New York Senate, and the Governor has to sign it.

It would most likely help Bernie Sanders as he has polled well so far with independent voters.
