UConn is one of the most sleep deprived schools in the country

Feeling sleepy?

According to data recently released by Jawbone, the fitness tracking company, UConn is the 92nd most sleep deprived school in the country.

On an average weekday, UConn students only get 7.03 hours of sleep. They go to bed at 12:37am and wake up at 8:15am. Columbia University tops the list being the most sleep deprived school in the country, with students sleeping 6.68 hours on average.

Jawbone also found that female students get significantly more sleep than their male counterparts, averaging 23 more minutes per weeknight and 17 more minutes per weekend night.

According to Jawbone, “The tougher the school, the later the students go to bed.”
