Flex passes are free for students now

In case you’re late to the party

In previous years, Rutgers Recreation offered classes through the flex pass program in which a variety of classes ranging from Zumba, to RUFit were available to students, faculty, and members who paid $45 per semester for the flex pass, which allows unlimited access to any of the classes offered. Descriptions of classes can be found here.

Now, Rutgers Recreation decided to offer the Flex Pass free to students only. You don’t need to pick up a physical pass, but make sure to always bring your student ID to any recreation centers.

Students are encouraged to use the UPACE app, available for free on the android and in the apple store, to reserve a spot in a class in case it gets filled. The UPACE app also allows you to see the capacity in every gym at any time, and the schedule for all the classes.

More information on other classes and events offered through Rutgers Recreation is available here.
