BREAKING: Reports claim ‘ISIS takes credit’ for yesterday’s attack
The Islamic State news agency apparently called him ‘our soldier’
After the attacker at Ohio State was identified as Somalian refugee Abdul Razak Ali Artan, there was speculation on whether or not his actions were terrorists attacks.
Today, there are reports of ISIS taking responsibility for the attacks.
The reports claim that AMAQ, the Islamic State news agency, reported that ISIS took credit for the stabbing attack on campus.
The text in the image reads: “The person who did the attack in the American state of Ohio is a soldier of the Islamic State and he did the act in response to calls to target nationals of the international coalition countries.”
Another source reports that Islamic State terrorist channels have begun to praise him despite the fact that it is not official whether or not he was associated with the Sunni Islamist extremist group.
