Sexual misconduct official resigns amid sexual misconduct claims

IU deputy Title IX director and director of student ethics made his resignation this morning

Jason Casares, director of student ethics and deputy Title IX director, handed in his resignation this morning amid accusations of sexual misconduct according to an IU press release.

In early February, Casares was put on administrative leave in the midst of a sexual misconduct accusation made by a colleague within the Association for Student Conduct Administration, an intercollegiate higher education organization.

The alleged incident occurred at an Association for Student Conduct Administration conference in December in Fort Worth, TX.
