Bucknell replicates famed ‘subway sticky notes’, invites students to share thoughts on the election

It’s modeled after the New York City display

Continuing the acts of solidarity, Bucknell has created a space in the ELC for student to express their “feelings/thoughts/messages regarding the election.”

The space is meant to mimic the positive Post-It Notes found in subway stops across New York and can be found between the Solidarity Creed sign and the Post Office.

Safety pins, another popular sign of solidarity, can be found on the Post-It table as well, for students to take.

The creation of this space follows a student walkout and letter of demands being sent to the president in regards to campus climate and the election.

Current Post-Its in the space say “It is always worth it to fight for what you believe in,” and “I’m still angry!”
