An accurate map of the ‘real’ Nashville, America’s best city

There’s an entire area dedicated to ‘girls in oversized t-shirts’

Nashville, like any city, has a distinct flavor and identity. It is a mix of residents flocking here for music and fame, residents who hold dearly the area of town they live in and soccer moms who drive Escalades with their sons’ and daughters’ high school emblem plastered on the back.

It’s a mix between old South and new South, between country and indie and between people who like their tea sweet and people who like it unsweet. (Who am I kidding – everyone likes it sweet.)

It represents the quintessential Southern town: hospitable, cheerful, full of good coffee and fried chicken, and full of angry, educated individuals fighting with the uneducated ones.

The map below shows a basic overview of what’s in each area of town, boiled down to the types of people who can usually be found there. Honestly, all this will really tell you is where to find hot chicken, but take a look.
