The Challenge’s Davis Mallory reveals girlfriend one year after announcing he’s ‘no longer gay’
Davis now believes being gay is a 'form of sinning' but admits to still finding men 'beautiful'
One year after announcing he’s “no longer gay” The Challenge star Davis Mallory has revealed his new girlfriend.
Davis previously announced he was no longer gay after initially coming out in 2005, claiming he’d been “pulled out of the lifestyle” by God.
The star had been open about being gay in the past, sharing on Facebook in 2018 about when he knew he was gay for the first time. He wrote: “I knew I was gay since I was 15. I grew up singing in my church choir, and I witnessed other straight members of this choir excel in music careers.
“I didn’t pursue music because I didn’t see a place for myself as a gay artist. I knew I was gay before Ellen DeGeneres came out.” However, Davis Mallory then said at the time that he’s no longer gay and claimed that being so is a form of “sinning.”

He explained on Instagram: “I feel like God gave me this vision that us being righteous and following the law is his perfect plan for us. Sinning in anyway is not his plan for us and is not us honoring his design for how he made us. He did not design us to sin, and when we live a life of sin, we are not just dishonoring God, but we are doing a disservice to ourselves and our character.”
Davis continued: “Think of all the stories of the men and kings who pleased God, and honored his command and those who did not. We are still being judged under those same standards.”
One follower commented underneath his announcement asking him whether he still views himself as gay.
He replied asking “what does it mean to be gay?” with the follower responding, “are you attracted to men? Do you sleep with men?”
David replied: “Do I find men beautiful? Yes of course. Do I find women beautiful? Yes of course. We are created in God’s image and in His likeness. The beauty of creation gives glory to the Creator. I’ll ask you this. What do you believe the design of sex is for? What do you believe is sexually immoral behavior?”

When the commenter asked again whether he’s “sexually attracted and has sex with men”, Davis clarified: “To answer your question directly then NO & NO.”
Someone asked him if he underwent conversion therapy, to which he responded: “Not really. But God started giving me vivid dreams and healed me from trauma and showed me the spiritual warfare I was under.”
After “no longer being gay”, it seems like Davis Mallory has been with his new girlfriend, Rachel Vaughan, for at least a month if not longer.
She recently recalled how they met, writing: “First day I met Davis in the middle of the ocean we pet wild horses and hitchhiked up the valley. From countless God stories, worship nights, crazy cities all over the world it’s safe to say it’s never ever ever boring with you. Hehe love you so much and I’m so proud of you.”
Rachel is also incredibly religious, and so it seems like they bonded over their shared faith. She’s also posted pictures of herself using a gun and currently follows Ivanka Trump on Instagram.
