Love Is Blind bride recalls the exact moment her husband tried to murder her
This is absolutely harrowing

Santiago, a cast member on Love Is Blind: Argentina has been jailed for 15 years for attempting to murder his ex wife who he met on the show, Emily Ceco.
Emily has revealed that he “tried to kill her” and he’s since been sentenced for attempted murder, repeated assault, and unlawful detention.
During the trial she recalled the harrowing details that led to her then husband attempting to kill her. It’s worth noting that he was also being controlling prior to this incident, but that according to her statements there was one activity she did that led to him trying to murder her.

Whilst the pair got married in a civil ceremony during Love Is Blind, Emily explained that they’d decided to get remarried in a church.
She recalled: “My mom, with my sisters, my aunts and my cousins organized a surprise bachelorette party for me. When we got home, he wasn’t talking to me.”
She claimed that when she went to hug Santiago he started insulting her, and was allegedly furious at her for going to her own surprise bachelorette party. He grabbed her phone and told her that she wasn’t “going anywhere.”
He told her that she had “disrespected me by going out like that”, and that “that’s not how a woman in a relationship should behave.”
Emily begged Santiago not to hit her, but claimed he then punched her twice, pushed her against the bed and “began to choke her with his arms.” He also spat on her whilst hitting her.
She was finally able to escape her home after pretending that she’s forgiven Santiago, and whilst he was “tidying up” their room she managed to flee the house.
She recalled that she “had to calm him down so he wouldn’t keep hurting me”, and “acted like everything was fine.”
Emily continued, saying when she “saw the chance” she left, and “took advantage of a moment when he wasn’t holding me.”
Santiago was issued a restraining order to prevent him from approaching Emily in public by the courts, and he was removed from Love Is Blind: Argentina after the allegations became public.

Santiago has denied the allegations that he was going to kill Emily, as he posted on Instagram during the trial that it’s a “lie” and she was never in “any of danger of death.”
He claimed: “The first thing I want to say is that I do not justify violence in any way, and I was the first to acknowledge my mistake and to apologize privately, and today I publicly take responsibility for what I did.
“But that does not mean I take responsibility for trying to kill the woman I loved. All of that was unfounded and created by the media circus around Castillo and company (with an expanded complaint with a false signature that has already been examined, and there is a filed complaint in Ituzaingó).
“That circus is what judged me. Criminal experts said in their reports that the injuries were minor, there was never in any danger of death, and she was always free to do whatever she wanted. I never exercised the manipulation and control they claim—that is a lie, and I know the truth will be proven.
“Now it’s time to stay silent and wait for justice to judge based on real evidence and not on a narrative.”
