The creator of Love on the Spectrum has revealed whether the show is secretly scripted
Is it all too good to be true?
Love on the Spectrum is one of the most wholesome shows to ever exist, however there has been a lot of speculation surrounding whether its scripted or not.
So, is Love on the Spectrum actually scripted?

Creator of the show, Cian O’Clery has previously stated that the show isn’t scripted in any way, however it foes go through various edits to make the watching experience more streamlined.
He previously addressed accusations that Love on the Spectrum was scripted after viewers accused him of deliberately mismatching cast members for drama.
Speaking to Reality Blurred, co-creator of the show, Cian O’Clery, explained: “We match-make as producers. That’s just part of the process of the show because there aren’t necessarily those services being provided. It’s kind of, it’s fun. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that it’s fun, but it kind of is.”
He clarified that they’d “never mismatch people on purpose”, adding: “This isn’t that kind of show. We’re lucky enough that we’re making a show that is meant to be positive. And we’re not trying to find villains and manufacture conflict or drama where they may not be previously.”

Other cast members have also spoken out about the scripted accusations, with Connor’s mum Lise claiming some people have accused Connor of being an actor who’s faking his autism.
She addressed the rumours on the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, saying: “The show was done to preserve everybody’s dignity, which we love. Some people, gosh, we’ve had a few comments on social media where people actually questioned his diagnosis, or things like that, or he’s an actor playing somebody on the spectrum.
“I think that people would be surprised if they saw Connor in his natural habitat, unedited… but they do see… just the growth and everything that he’s gone through is phenomenal from the show.”
