James and Shelley have become one of the most talked-about couples on Love on the Spectrum, and since the new season is out, you must be wondering if they are still together.
If you’ve followed James from earlier seasons, you’ll know his journey hasn’t always been easy. The two actually met in a pretty modern way. Shelley had seen James on the show and reached out to him online. From there, they kept talking, met up in person at a gaming arcade, and things just clicked. By his 37th birthday, James asked her to be his girlfriend, and she said yes.
Since then, their relationship has kept building. They’ve gone on trips together and spent time with each other’s families.
So, are James and Shelley still together?
Yes, they’re still very much together. In fact, things seem to be going better than ever for them. Since filming wrapped, James and Shelley have taken a pretty big step in their relationship and are now living together. They’ve even moved into their own home, which is a huge milestone.
James shared that they’ve already spent a few months settling in. He told Tudum, “We have been living in our house for three months now. We’ve already done so much work on it, making it an extension of ourselves, so it feels like a home to us.”
He added, “My life definitely has changed for the better, especially now that Shelley and I are living together, and shall soon celebrate two years of being in a relationship.”
It’s pretty obvious they’re both really into each other. They’ve said it themselves, too.
James described their connection by saying, “She and I are soulmates, kindred spirits, and, while we are not identical to each other, we are very similar to each other. We each inspire the other to grow and develop, to be the best versions of ourselves.”
And Shelley feels the same way. She said, “I feel very grateful that we found each other. We are both very excited about what lies ahead, and about the many years that we will share together.”
