Amanda and West ‘shut down’ Kyle Cooke when he asked if they were seeing each other
They denied they were together for months on end
I’m still in shock over the official news that Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson have been secretly seeing each other, and apparently the rest of the cast were kept in the dark too.
According to TMZ, Amanda’s ex husband Kyle Cooke had his suspicions that something was going on between them but the pair kept denying anything was going on between them.
Sources have claimed to TMZ that Kyle was completely in the dark about Amanda and West up to as recently as this weekend, just before they dropped their bombshell statement.

Apparently he directly approached Amanda and West about their dynamic multiple times, but they “shut it down” and “denied” that anything was going on between them.
Amanda and West released a joint statement last night, with the Summer House stars confirming they are now seeing each other.
They wrote: “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

The statement continued: “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
