Nicole Zanatta opens up about her decision to have twins by herself after The Challenge
There isn't a father in the picture
Nicole ‘Z’ Zanatta has never been the type to do anything quietly, not eliminations, not messy romances, not telling it exactly how it is
But her latest chapter feels different: softer, braver, and honestly… kind of iconic.
After years of us watching her on MTV, Nicole’s now letting people into a deeply personal goal she’s been chasing off-camera.
And yes, it’s giving ‘new era’ in the best way. Because while The Challenge is built on partnerships, betrayals, and chaos, Nicole’s next big storyline is about building something entirely her own, on her terms.
Nicole made a huge announcement

Over the holidays, Nicole revealed she’s pregnant with twins, and she’s doing it as a single mom.
In her post, she described a journey that included fertility treatments, “IUI,” failed attempts, and real heartbreak before finally getting to share the news.
She also hinted she’d been holding it close for a while, which is why the update landed with a mix of excitement and ‘protect this woman at all costs’ type-energy from people.
MTV star Nicole also adorably shared that her “greatest gift” is expected to arrive in May 2026.
She has been open about her journey to parenthood

This isn’t a sudden, random plot twist, Nicole’s been transparent for months about wanting to become a mom, even if it meant doing it solo.
In a December 10 post, she wrote that she was “ready to chase my dream of becoming a mom,” and admitted going it alone scared her at first, but she’s learned she isn’t actually alone because of the support around her.
She also encouraged anyone debating timing to drop the pressure of the “right” moment, saying there’s no such thing, “we just have now.”
And she got specific about the logistics, too: Nicole mentioned working with California Cryobank, describing help with donor selection, genetic screening compatibility, and coordinating shipping to her clinic.
From MTV chaos to a calmer, grown-up era

Nicole’s been on our screens since The Real World: Skeletons, then became a familiar face across multiple Challenge seasons.
More recently, she appeared on The Challenge: All Stars: Rivals in season five, which aired in early 2025 and put her right back in the thick of that intense, history-heavy cast dynamic.
But what’s striking is how different her energy feels now compared to her most chaotic TV moments. The baby news isn’t framed like a headline-grab, it reads like someone who’s done the inner work and is choosing peace on purpose!
