We found a clip of Charlie from Love Island Games in a British soap and it’s actually decent
He looks completely different?!
Charlie Georgiou, the first bombshell to enter Love Island Games season two, was on the British soap Hollyoaks, and there’s an image of him going round. It’s giving Curtis and AJ Pritchard giving the exact same programme a go, and it just got turned into a meme.
In the clip, Charlie’s character is talking to Ste Hay, and sporting a really different hairdo. Charlie played Jed for two months, from July to September 2019. Jed was a member of a far-right extremist group, and was basically set up to go on a date with Ste.
His character got beaten up by Ste, and basically had to help Ste escape from a far-right group. So Charlie only had his British soap success for two months, but played a pretty major part, and you can watch the entire episode he first appeared on the Channel 4 website.
He was only on six episodes, and it took another six years to get back on TV, but this time for Love Island USA, and now Love Island Games. Charlie landed the role through his agency, Urban Talent, which had potential to be long-term, but was short-lived.
Charlie completed a Performing Arts course at Solihull College & University Centre in 2016, and then found himself an agent. He also secured a role in BBC One’s Doctors and went on to star in Just Charlie in 2017, a film in which he played a young man named Gareth.
The film, which also featured Harry Gilby, was shown on Sky Movies and centred on the story of a girl trapped in a boy’s body. He revealed in a university video at the age of 17 that he’s “always wanted to be an actor” since he was a young boy.
He has been modelling for a number of brands including Adidas, Boohoo and ASOS, and even sings! Charlie plans to release a debut album and has already released seven songs, including his latest track, Broken Dreams. He’s basically a multi-talented king.
