Seth Rogen once made a tongue-in-cheek comment about RuPaul, and it’s resurfaced. RuPaul had written her list of favourite films, with This Is The End featuring Seth Rogen as a main character, and he immediately replied with what he believed to be a funny compliment.
He wrote back in December 2013: “Thanks RuPaul! When I was 15, I accidentally jacked off to a picture of you thinking you were a girl!” RuPaul responded: “A fist full of Jergen’s lotion, a vivid imagination and look at you now @sethrogen #Superstar #WorkBitch.”
Obviously, the whole thing was meant to be a joke, and RuPaul took it as one. She matched the energy and the moment has lived on for over a decade. In fact, they’re really good friends, as they appeared together in Muppets Now on Disney+.
RuPaul even joked that she equally pleasured herself, but over Martina Navratilova, the tennis player. It hasn’t always ended so jokey though, because RuPaul once got into an online argument with Amanda Bynes, and it wasn’t pretty.
Amanda wrote, “My dad is as ugly as RuPaul! So thankful I look nothing like you both! I had nose surgery after my mug shots so my nose and I are gorgeous!” RuPaul replied, “Derogatory slurs are ALWAYS an outward projection of a person’s own poisonous self-loathing.”
She then topped it off with, “I’m a man, duh!” People are convinced that Seth Rogen, for example, wants to be a guest judge on RuPauls’ Drag Race, and fans loved their interaction. One person said, “I love how unbothered Ru is despite her level of fame.”
