Kim Kardashian’s second husband unexpectedly now works full time in a fried chicken shop
Their marriage famously lasted just 72 days
Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian’s romance and subsequent marriage has to be one of the most ill-fated of all time, as they were married for just two months before Kim filed for divorce.
The pair met in 2010, with Kim Kardashian being utterly smitten by Kris Humphries, telling Us Weekly: “He just has a really good heart. There has to be trust and honesty and chemistry. If you don’t have any of those, it’s never going to work.”
He proposed in May 2011, with their wedding taking place shortly afterwards in August, and a mere 72 days later Kim filed for divorce, citing citing irreconcilable differences.
And if you’re wondering what the former NBA star, who earned a whopping $66 million throughout his career, is up to now? Well, rather unexpectedly he works full time in the fried chicken shop business.
In 2022, Kris and his family signed on as a franchisee of Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants, allowing them to open their own locations in various states.
They’re planning on opening around 18 locations of the fried chicken franchise in Minnesota, with Kris having previously owned Crisp & Green and Five Guys franchises.
He announced: “Super excited to bring [Dave’s Hot Chicken] to Minnesota with my family. This is the best chicken ever! Get ready Minnesota.
Dave’s Hot Chicken checks all the boxes for the kind of restaurant brand we want to be involved with, and has all the potential for massive growth.”
