Love Is Blind star reveals she ‘gets anxiety’ about possibility of divorce from husband
'I'm not going to live in fear of divorce'
Love Is Blind‘s Taylor is sharing her anxiety over the possibility of divorce from Garrett in future. They got married in season seven, and now she’s addressing the multiple divorces that have taken place for fellow Netflix couples who were once in the same position.
She has now revealed that, following the divorce news from the likes of Lydia and Milton, and Matt and Colleen, that she’s experienced worries about the possibility of it happening to her. Taylor told What’s The Reality podcast, “It gives you anxiety.”
While Taylor “feels very strong in her relationship and is crazy about Garrett,” she admits that they’re “financially invested into each other” and, not wanting to say that’s “a fact that keeps people together,” adds that their families are about to go on holiday together.
Taylor went on to say that, even though they’re solid, she “still gets anxieties” about their marriage. She said, “I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think there’s people that get married in the normal way that get divorces all the time, I don’t think divorce is a bad thing.”
“It’s not the end all, and for some people, it’s a way of learning a lot and building a life that is right for you and maybe finding your next person. It gives me anxiety but I will never live in fear of getting a divorce,” continued Taylor.
She added how it “does make her work harder at her marriage” and even recalled how they both had a connection with other people in the pods. Taylor revealed Garrett’s other connection was Katie, while the person she clicked with didn’t make the cut.
Addressing rumours that they’ve broken up, Taylor said she’s seen “wild things she had no idea about in her relationship” and believes it comes down to multiple divorces happening in the Love Is Blind space, but confirms she and Garrett are “good.”
