Nic reveals whether he’s spoken to Cierra after her sudden Love Island USA exit
She was removed for a shocking reason
Love Island USA season seven took a pretty dramatic turn when Cierra Ortega suddenly disappeared from the villa. One minute she was there, and the next she’d been removed, according to her fellow Islanders. As we all know, not all of the couples will make it to the end of the show and bag $100k. But Cierra’s axing just a week before the finale was a shock to everyone.
Cierra and Nic were coupled up
On day three in the villa, Nic and Cierra were coupled up. Nic dumped Belle-A Walker for Cierra, and the two went on to have a strong connection.
So, when Cierra was suddenly removed from the Love Island USA villa, he was likely confused.
Now, Nic is breaking his silence on whether he and Cierra have spoken post-show.
Per another Islander who was in the villa at the same time as Nic and Cierra, Zak Srakaew, Nic was “upset” when she was removed.
Zak said: “Nic was really upset that she left, but at the same time, he couldn’t really be super upset…
“…He couldnt express how he feels about the situation until he found out what she’s done or what she’s said because at the end of the day as much as you want to feel sorry for somebody, if you know they got removed from a show for saying something offensive you cant really feel sorry for them until you know what it is, you know what im saying?”
Nic breaks his silence on Cierra
It’s the one question people are dying to know the answer to – have Nic and Cierra spoken?!
As it turns out, it seems to have been a pretty hectic time for the season seven finalists, per an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Nic explained how he and Olandria Carthen are adjusting to life in the spotlight after placing second on Love Island USA.
When asked if he’d “touched base” with Cierra since leaving the villa, Nic said: “I’m only 48 hours outside of the villa. And, I feel like I’ve been taking the time to process, not just Cierra’s situation, but also the real world… So, I’m still getting my feet on the ground…”
“I have not talked to her,” he added.
When it comes to whether Nic plans on chatting to his former co-star, he said: “I’m just warming up to this new life that we’re living.”
Olandria also cleared the air on her former partner on the show, Taylor Williams, and clarified that there’s no bad blood.
