Kenny Barnes from Love Is Blind season one just became a dad for the first time!

Cast your mind way back to Love Is Blind season one, and you might recall a certain cast member called Kenny Barnes, who’s just announced he’s now a dad for the first time!
Kenny and his wife Alex announced their pregnancy in February, after the pair met in 2020 and got engaged after just over one year of dating.
Their daughter, Charlotte, was born earlier this week, with Love Is Blind alumni Kenny telling People: “Meet our Vivienne Taylor!
“Although we didn’t find out the gender during pregnancy, based on the baby’s heart rate throughout the nine months we thought it would be a boy.
“We went to the hospital with a few names for each gender but have always loved the name Vivienne and new it would be the perfect fit!”
“Her middle name, Taylor, is a family name on Alex’s side — it is her sister’s middle name and goes way back in her family tree as well. We loved the idea of creating a meaningful family connection through our little girls’ name.”
He continued: “We’re settling in well at home as a family of three (our two corgis who have been wonderful since bringing her home!). Penni and Dolli are really turning into great big sisters!”
“We are adjusting to our new rhythm, learning to sleep when we can and soaking up every precious moment and newborn snuggles with Vivienne.”
Kenny explained why they wanted to keep the gender of their baby a surprise until the birth, explaining in a previous interview: “Both of us are quite the planners, but to everyone’s surprise, we are not going to find out the gender before our baby’s arrival.
“We are so excited for the biggest surprise of our lives and have so much to look forward to. We tossed around a ton of names, of course, but will go into the hospital with a few that we love and wait until we meet our precious baby girl or boy.”
