Omg, this is what pushed Love Island USA to issue an official warning to haters
People took things too far
Negative posts have been coming through thick and fast since Love Island USA kicked off this summer. It’s no secret that people take to their keyboards as soon as a new season begins, but this year it seems like folks have turned up the savagery a notch. After Huda Mustafa had pretty much all of America wanting her out of the villa, her ex spoke out. Now, Love Island USA has just issued an official warning to viewers.
Love Island USA Huda’s ex spoke out
Throwing it back to when Huda was fully in her feels for Jeremiah Brown, her ex took to his Instagram page to defend her.
At the time, Huda was sent into something of a meltdown at times, and people were quick to judge her reactions and emotions. She was actually almost pulled off the show at one point.
People weren’t only voicing their opinions, but they were taking things a step too far, calling Huda out without knowing the full picture.
Afterwards, her ex, Noah Sheline, had some words for people watching the show, and ultimately, he asked that people “be kind” and remember that she’s just a young mom on a reality TV show doing her best.
Noah made a heartfelt appeal to fans to stop the online hate, reminding them that their daughter could one day see the things being said.
Ariana Madix also had a message
Noah said his piece, and then it turned out to be time for Love Island USA host, Ariana Madix, to share her thoughts on people’s hateful remarks.
Ariana spoke out during the June 21 Love Island USA: Aftersun episode.
She made a joke about her past on Vanderpump Rules and said she’s “made mistakes on TV,” and explained how she felt people sould be behaving who are watching the show.
Ariana said: “Love Island has the best fans across the entire globe… Passionate, and I love that.
“There’s such a great, amazing communal experience when it comes to watching the show, but I do want to say something to some of those people who are online.
“Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxing people. Don’t be going on islanders’ pages and saying rude things.”
Ariana continued: “You still have time to delete all of that, because the islanders don’t have their phones. So we’re giving you a chance. Because this is a fun, amazing, beautiful show, and we should be thanking each one of these islanders every single day for giving us themselves. Be nice. Please be nice, or I’ll come find you…”
