Here’s everything the Kardashians had to say about the Astroworld tragedy
A new documentary unpacks everything that went wrong
Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival turned tragic when a deadly crowd surge during his headlining performance left ten people dead and hundreds more injured. Now, a new Netflix documentary takes a look at where some of the survivors are today. The incident occurred just over three years ago, but now people are intrigued about how those closest to the rapper responded.
At the time, people were shocked, and the incident sparked widespread criticism about the event’s management. Among the many public figures connected to the festival, few faced more pressure to respond than the Kardashians.
Kylie Jenner, who shares daughter Stormi and son Aire with Travis, was there that night. Her family’s massive platform made their eventual statements all the more scrutinised. So, let’s take a look at what exactly the Kardashians said about the Astroworld tragedy.
Kylie Jenner responded with an official statement

Kim’s post continued: “Just like all of you, our family is in shock by the tragedy. We are keeping all of the victims, families and loved ones impacted in our prayers for healing – as well as Travis who we know cares so much about his fans and is truly devastated.”
While Kylie, Kendall and Kim all shared posts regarding the awful tragedy, Kris Jenner didn’t publish an official statement.
Khloé Kardashian was dubbed “tone deaf” following the concert tragedy as she reportedly posted “thirst traps” to Instagram, rather than addressing the incident, per Page Six.
Kourtney Kardashian was also slammed for being “tone deaf” after Astroworld. She took to social media to promote her brand, Poosh, which didn’t go down well with people, per The Sun.
