From Love on the Spectrum Australia to the more recent US version, there have been more than a couple of very wholesome relationship success stories to come from the show.
So, let’s have a look at all the biggest relationship success stories from all versions of Love on the Spectrum, and get the tissues ready because it’s about to get emotional.
Jimmy and Sharnae
Jimmy and Sharnae began their relationship before appearing in Love on the Spectrum Australia, and had already been dating for three years prior to the show.
The pair moved in together whilst filming was taking place, with Jimmy soon proposing to Sharnae during a romantic beach outing.
During season two of Love on the Spectrum Australia, Jimmy and Sharnaw cemented their relationship by getting married on the show.
The pair are still very happily married today, and even run a joint YouTube channel together. They’re definitely one of the biggest success stories to come out of the Love on the Spectrum series.
Abbey and David
David and Abbey met during season one of Love on the Spectrum US, and recently celebrated their three-year anniversary in March.
Currently, they’re the longest-standing duo out of all the couples from Love on the Spectrum, and it looks like we could be hearing wedding bells soon.
Abbey opened up to Rolling Stone about when she and David would be ready to get married, stating she thinks it’ll happen “probably in late 2025.”
And it sounds like since filming for the newest season of Love on the Spectrum, Abbey and David have already started planning their wedding.
Abbey revealed on the Unplanned Podcast that she’s already started thinking about the food that will be on offer, describing that cookies, Costco pizza, and Yum Yum Doughnuts will all be on the menu. A genuine dream.
Ronan & Katie
Ronan and Katie met during season two of Love on the Spectrum Australia, and seemed absolutely perfect for each other.
They’re still very happily together and have now been dating for over seven years!
James and Shelley
Shelley and James have now been dating for over a year, and whilst we didn’t see the couple meet during Love on the Spectrum US, Shelley shared a video of their first date.
James revealed how he and Shelley actually met in an interview with People, alongside confessing that she’s definitely “the one” for him, as well as their plans for the future.
James explained: “I have finally found who I think is the one. She’s so wonderful, so amazing.
“I can’t say enough just how great she is, and I’m absolutely certain that this time around it’s true love, that I found the one. As the old saying goes third time’s the charm.”
Ruth & Thomas
Ruth and Thomas are another wholesome couple to have flourished on Love on the Spectrum Australia, and the pair got married around July 2020.
Prior to their appearance on the show, they’d already been dating for four years and seemed very content together.
