Body language expert reveals real reason behind Timothée and Kylie’s excessive Coachella PDA

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve found out it’s almost impossible to escape the clips of Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at Coachella, along with all their PDA.

However, despite the clips making it look like Timothée and Kylie are in a picture-perfect relationship, body language expert Judi James has revealed their Coachella PDA isn’t all it seems.

Judi revealed to MailOnline that the pair were actually displaying an “awkward” dynamic, with the couple looking very “out of sync” with each other during the festival.


She revealed: “Kylie and Timothée’s passion and affection rituals here are similar in theme, essence and composition to the demanded kiss that Kylie performed at the BNP open, where she grasped his head in both hands to pin it and turn it in to face hers despite the fact that Timothée’s eyes and attention were speared in the direction of the play.

“Kylie looks like a focused and insistent lover who knows what she wants and expects and how it should look when it comes to PDAs, while Timothée looks easy-going and compliant in terms of not instigating but often being the first to break away.

“So, at Coachella, we can see the couple in several sensual poses that suggest intimacy and affection.

“But when some of those moments are broken down, it looks like Kylie doing all the heavy lifting while Timothée appears out of synch and politely less inclined to act seductive or seduced.”

Judi referenced one clip from Coachella where Kylie was enthusiastically dancing whilst Timothée looked a lot more casual, with the body language expert revealing what this shows about their relationship.


She explained: “Kylie is standing in the audience in front of Timothée, and it’s clear she’s catching the mood of that audience and perhaps doubling it, leaping and jiggling while tossing her hair in some flirtatious-looking dance moves.

“Her behavior looks happy and uninhibited, but behind her, Timothée looks more like an awkward dad at a kid’s party.

“His smile looks polite, and his body is placed at a polite social distance from Kylie when he might have been closing in to share the wild dance moves.

“His reaction to the music is some nodding to the beat, and he has his hand placed on the rail rather than on Kylie’s body.”

Judi thinks that overall, there’s imbalance in their relationship, concluding: “Timothée doesn’t seem to match Kylie’s love of the passionate PDA.

“His body language rituals suggest a more reserved and possibly private personality at a point in the relationship where they might be more finely tuned and synchronized.

“We would normally be seeing more ‘opportunistic’ touches and rituals from a partner who is being flirted with and kissed, where he might ramp up the touches or body proximity rather than closing it down or looking overly polite.”
