OK, let’s just say it. Love Is Blind is kinda flopping this season. When the franchise first landed, we were hooked. But, eight seasons later and it doesn’t seem to be floating everyone’s boat. The all-new episodes kicked off on Valentine’s Day – and no better date to begin a love-finding experiment, eh?! But, people are sensing a “lack of personality” from the cast members, and their storylines just don’t seem to be pulling them through. Now, a theory is circulating that producers hatched a cunning plan to make season eight more interesting.

Love Is Blind season eight is a little bit lacking

Some people are taking to X this February to demand a refund from Netflix due to how poor they’re finding Love Is Blind season eight.

Although the trusty format is the same, with couples meeting in the pods and dramatically getting married sight unseen, it just doesn’t seem to be hitting the mark this seaosn.

People are tweeting how the “conversations are bland,” and one even asks: “Why did they include Taylor entering a WiFi password in real time?”

The mind truly boggles. But, some are convinced there’s a saving grace to season eight and more are going as far as to say it’s part of a plan hatched by producers.

Cue producers with their sneaky plan

Reddit is booming with all kinds of juicy Love Is Blind gossip this season.

If anything, there might be more going on in the Reddit threads then the show at this point.

But, there is one element of season eight that’s getting people going, and thhat’s the soundtrack.

People take to X to say: “After eight seasons we finally got a real music budget,” and another writes: “Not Love Is Blind getting mainstream music sound budget! This season needed it. I can’t remember no-one’s name.”

More write: “Shoutout to the Love Is Blind producers for choosing All My Life” by K-Ci and JoJo.”

People on Reddit are convinced the soundtrack is part of a sneaky plan to make this season more interesting.

A thread creator theorizes: “…producers splurged on licensing popular music for this season because they knew how badly it sucked.”

They continue: “They are trying to distract us from the bad show with songs that we recognize but they don’t realize that we don’t care about what’s happening on the show so the songs lose their meaning and it’s no different than any other time we scroll our social media feeds and hear the same songs playing. Bring back the bad royalty-free music!”

Many chime in to agree, with one commenting: “This makes a lot of sense actually.”
