Kim Kardashian is showcasing her momager skills in the all-new Kardashians episodes this February. She learned from the best (shout out to Kris Jenner), so it’s no wonder Kim’s being hailed a great parent after North West‘s Lion King performance. And although Kim doesn’t appear to need any help supporting her eldest daughter’s dreams, she admits she still counts on Kanye West’s knack for advice, even years on from their divorce.

The Kardashians fans will recall seeing Kim break down on camera when discussing her former husband, Kanye.
Times certainly appeared tough for the reality star as she navigated life after divorcing and co-parenting their four kids.
But, it seems things have really taken a great turn for Ye and Kim as she explains it’s “good vibes” when they have to get together for their children.
Speaking on the Hulu show, she said:
“Kanye and I want the best for the kids… so anytime we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes.”
She admits to still taking Kanye West’s advice
Not only are Kim and Ye enjoying “good vibes” but she also shares how she’s still keen to take his advice – four years on from their split.
After almost seven years of marriage, Kim filed for divorce in 2021.
During The Kardashians, people see how Ye was involved in North’s Lion King performance and attended rehearsals.
While there, North’s dad asked if it was possible to “change the graphics.”
Kim said: “Of course, of course,” adding: “…I just look at them and I’m like, ‘It will be a better production [if you take his notes]’,” per People.
It looks like Kanye’s influence doesn’t stop at sharing his two cents on the Lion King production, either.
He famously served as Kim’s stylist for the time they were together. After splitting up, Kim explained how dressing herself without his help would give her “anxiety” on an episode of The Kardashians.
After “nervously” styling herself for the WSJ Awards, Ye apparently aired his thoughts on Kim’s efforts. She explains on the show: “He told me my career is over and he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar.”
Ye really doesn’t seem afraid to share his opinions. Even to this day, he also reportedly set boundaries for Kim’s dating life. Via Heat Magazine, The Mirror reports:
“Kim and Kanye are on speaking terms at the moment, but the one thing he’s stipulated is that Kim cannot date any rappers – with a heavy emphasis on the ones he’s collaborated with.”
