Savannah Chrisley’s ‘heart breaks’ as another of her family members leaves home
It’s been a year since Todd and Julie Chrisley began serving their prison sentences. Now, Savannah Chrisley is saying goodbye to another of her family members. With Todd and Julie serving jailtime, they’re unable to send Grayson Chrisley off to college themselves.
Now, Savannah Chrisley shares how her “heart is breaking” as after stepping in as Grayson’s caregiver and sends him off to college. The former Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley star shares Grayson’s milestone moment with the world via social media this January.
Savannah Chrisley shares ‘bittersweet’ milestone
After taking to her podcast a week ago, Savannah is now sharing how the day has come that her younger brother, Grayson, is headed off to college.
She writes on Instagram: “My whole heart.. off to College you go! I’m so proud of you.”
Grayson is headed for the University of Alabama.
The two agreed times are set to be “tough” for Savannah when Grayson leaves as she’ll be operating as a “single parent” to her niece, Chloe Chrisley.
However, she’s already said she’ll be visiting at any given opportunity, adding how she and Grayson have a “fun” relationship.
Grayson’s going to college ‘a semester early’
Being a proud big sister, Savannah shares how her brother is headed to college “a semester early.”
Grayson explains how he’s feeling “more nervous the closer it gets,” adding how he’ll be “excited when he gets there.”
Speaking of how he’ll “basically be in the second semester with everybody else,” Savannah says: “That’s absolutely insane to have accomplished and to have done. We could not have done it without Emily, Grayson’s teacher.”
