Rob appeared on Call Her Daddy and spilled some Love Island USA drama

Rob took a “direct flight” from the Love Island USA villa to film the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper, and he wasted no time spilling some serious tea. He had a slightly turbulent time on Love Island USA after his unexpected and messy breakup with Leah after he decided to pursue bombshell Andrea.

Rob was one of the first cast members to enter the Love Island USA villa and became known for his non-stop overalls wearing, which he obviously wore to film Call Her Daddy. So, from whether he would ever get back together with Leah to whether their breakup was their fault, here’s everything he said about his time on the show.

Rob revealed whether he’d ever get back with Leah in the future

After being coupled up together on day one of Love Island, fans became a bit obsessed with the pair and it seemed like they might breeze all the way to the finals. But everything came crashing down when bombshell Andrea entered the villa and caught Rob’s eye. After the two went on a date together, Andrea admitted to the girls that they’d kissed, leading Leah and Rob to break up.

Eventually, they became friends and Leah was even the last person Rob said goodbye to before leaving the villa when he was eliminated. There have been countless edits of the two of them on TikTok, and yes Rob has seen them, saying: “I’ve seen a ton. I mean how could I not they’re f*cking everywhere.”

Alex then asked whether he’d ever get back with Leah, despite her still being with Miguel. He admitted: “I think after everything I think we will be amazing friends and I think I’d rather just focus on that for now. I love being around her she’s an amazing person.

“Miguel is a really great guy. I love Miguel we’re actually really similar which I didn’t see coming at all. I’m going to respect them and her and I just don’t think it’s necessary at all. We’re great friends and that’s a great spot to be. I’m happy with it.”

He also addressed a potential future with Andrea

Whilst Rob said it’s probably “better if we keep our distance for now” he admitted they’ve been in contact since he left the villa.

He told Alex Cooper: “We facetimed for a little bit, didn’t talk about anything, like, crazy. Just, like, wanted to see how she was doing. Cause’ at this point, I hadn’t looked at anything online.”

He admitted he was ‘at fault’ for what happened between him and Leah

During the Call My Daddy podcast Rob admitted that he was “at fault” for what happened with Leah during Love Island USA. He admitted: “I feel like it was mostly my fault that it happened that way. I mean, she’ll admit some fault in it as well but it felt like it was mostly my fault, but it just didn’t work.”

He explained that the final conversation they had before their breakup was their “breaking point” which caused a permanent rift between them. He explained: “Leah was coming at me like saying what she was saying, which I thought was like perfectly valid. And I kept telling her that I was like, I get where you’re coming from and like, I’m trying to see from your perspective because I get it is hurting you. It would hurt me too if I was in your shoes.

“Every time I tried to talk, she [Leah] kept like cutting me off and she wouldn’t let me speak. And then it started, I started getting emotional and then I was like, I just need to step away. And then I start crying and I was like, bro, what the f*ck are you doing? And I think just crying induced like a panic attack.

“What set me off was she just didn’t ask me like how I felt, which I think that triggered a lot of people. They were like, it matters more what she feels in that moment. And 100% I was the one causing the situation and I, I was taking responsibility for that. I was trying to, but also like just needed someone just to check on me.”
