Single mom Sara Al Madani is dating during The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2. The Bravo star talks aliens with one of her dates and is excited to see another after two months apart, Akin Fontana. At 38, Sara’s ready to find love in her life, but she won’t settle for just anyone.
The Real Housewives of Dubai‘s Sara Al Madani describes herself as a “rebel” in her Instagram bio. The reality TV star is an Emirati local and a hard-working businesswoman. She started her first company at the age of 15 and raised her son alone. Season 2 sees Sara embarking on a new journey in her love life.
Meet Sara’s date Akin Fontana
During RHODubai season 2, Sara is set up on a double date with Taleen Marie and her husband Raffi, as well as their friend, Daniel.
Talk turns to aliens, and Daniel doesn’t seem put off. But, Sara’s unimpressed by his Emirati accent.
She also dates model Akin Fontana during the Bravo show.
Sara, her son, Maktoum, and Akin went for a coffee date and it seems he’s ticking boxes.
Maktoum certainly approves of Akin as he asked when he’s going to be his “step-dad,” but according to Bravo’s Daily Dish this June, she’s currently single: “Lol, nothing there and there is no rush because once you do the inner work, the right person will show up. So still single, haha.”
Akin works as a personal trainer and splits his time between Germany, New York, and Dubai, per his IG bio.
Sara Al Madani was married to Mustafa Khawaja
Before embarking on a dating journey on RHODubai, Sara was married twice.
Sara’s first husband is the father of her son, however, the two split during her pregnancy and she raised him alone, per Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.
She said: “I had my son Maktoum, seven, when I was 30. I split from his father while I was pregnant and we lived separate lives. When I gave birth to my son I raised him alone. I was his financial provider. His caregiver. His mum and his dad.”
In 2019, she reportedly married Mustafa Khawaja. An interview with the businessman reveals he’s Pakistani-American and believed he and Sara had similar work ethics.
Five years ago, Mustafa told The Pemberley Group: “I own Sparta Nutrition and Khawaja Holdings which has invested in 50 companies so far, and now my wife and I have started a few more companies in Dubai. We are very excited.”
