So, where did Hayden Panettiere live? Credit: NBC Universal Panettiere was born in Palisades, New York, but spent much of her life moving between different places because of her acting career. According to Hollywood Life, she had lived in Nashville, Tennessee, Los Angeles, California, and Europe at different points. But it was unclear where exactly she was living immediately before her death. Nashville was particularly significant in Panettiere’s life. She spent years there while starring as Juliette Barnes on the television series Nashville. In 2017, she gave PEOPLE a tour of her Nashville home. The property included what she called a “jam room”, where she could play music. At the time, Panettiere said, “I feel so at ease in my home. It’s what I need after a long day’s work.” She also explained why the house meant so much to her. She said, “I will always remember this house because it’s where I first raised my daughter. And that’s a really cool feeling.” Panettiere shared her daughter, Kaya, with former professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko. Why did Hayden Panettiere go to Greenville? Credit: Universal According to reports, Panettiere travelled from Los Angeles to South Carolina shortly before her death, accompanied by her on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson. The New York Post reported that Panettiere had flown out of Los Angeles with Hickerson the day before she died. But there is a little more information about the nature of the trip. According to Parade, the weekend trip was planned as “private downtime away from the West Coast”. The publication reported that Panettiere and Hickerson stayed at a rental property in Greenville. Greenville is also described as a place that could offer privacy away from major media hubs. Apparently, neighbours said the area regularly attracts visitors looking for privacy and described the city as offering Panettiere “total anonymity”. Panettiere was staying at a property inside the Judson Mill Lofts apartment complex in Greenville. Page Six reported that the unit was an Airbnb, while TMZ reported that Hickerson and his brother were living at the apartment. A resident of the complex later said that they were “shocked” to discover Panettiere had been staying there and said they had not seen her outside the property. The resident added, “I can only speak for myself, but you know, I never saw her [and] I haven’t spoken to anyone else that said they have.” So, her stay in Greenville appears to have been brief and fairly private.
