Off Campus’ Belmont Cameli has spoken about his interactions with the Off Campus fanbase, and he didn’t hold back.

Amazon Prime’s Off Campus has blown up in the past month – mostly thanks to the series’ huge fanbase. Edits for the ice hockey romance rack up millions of likes, and social media accounts across the internet are solely dedicated to promoting and sharing content about the series and its cast.

In a recent interview with GQ, Belmont Csmeli, who plays Garret, spoke about the impact the show has had on his life. When asked if he’s seen the huge edits and content made around his content, the actor shut it down quite quickly.

“No, I don’t engage. Once in a while Jalen [Thomas Brooks] or somebody would be like, ‘Yo dude, look at this edit of you.’ And I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s really cool’,” he said.

“Some of them are genuinely very impressive from an editing standpoint, and they get me fired up. But I’m not scrolling through Off Campus content on the internet; I have Off Campus at home.”

But don’t worry – he still has time for a bit of fan service. Recently, Belmont surprised fans at a Kid LAROI concert in LA with a dance performance to his song “Girls”.

“It was a really fun time,” he said of the concert. “I went down to LA to go see Laroi and do “Girls” at his show. I brought a group of my friends, and one of my buddies, Kenny [Juke], is a concert photographer, so he shot the show for us.”

The actor is currently busy filming season two of Off Campus, which is estimated to be released around this time next year, based on the first season’s release schedule. What’s to expect? Well, Belmont didn’t give too much away – but be excited.

“You’re going to get a good amount of Hannah and Garrett again this season. We have another arc. Dean and Allie are the main focus this season,” the actor revealed. “We’re only two weeks in, but I’m already extremely proud of Steven [Kalyn] and Mika [Abdalla]. Fans are going to be really, really, really happy with what they get from the two of them.”

He added: “I can’t say a damn word about Garrett. You will just have to watch the show.”
